Basic Electronics Workshop
We’ll go over what components like switches, resistors, capacitors, and batteries do; what a circuit board is; we’ll explain voltage, current, and resistance and how they relate to each other; and we’ll go over what analog and digital mean and how computers know information about the world around them. We’ll focus on learning the vocabulary of electronics, and you’ll put together some basic circuits in class that you can take home. No soldering is required.
These are in-person, held at our facility in San Luis Obispo, open to adults only (18+). Get into a new hobby of making things, or add electronics to your cosplay or art! If you’re considering more training in electronics or becoming a technician, this is a great way to dip your toes in the water and try it out before committing to a longer program.
